MULTI-AGENCY POLICE TRAINING AT MEADOWBROOK MALL

(Bridgeport, WV,)  Meadowbrook Mall will host a multi-agency training exercise on Sunday, January 12, beginning at 6pm. Members of the Bridgeport Police Department, Bridgeport Fire Department and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department will participate in the active shooter drill that is expected to run from 6:30pm to approximately 8:30pm. Volunteers from several mall stores will also participate in the exercise.

Meadowbrook Mall officials want to make sure the public is aware of the drill and that people nearby may hear simulated gunfire sounds during this time.

The owners and management of Meadowbrook Mall have always been glad to open its doors to law enforcement in the past for similar exercises.  These training drills provide are invaluable in preparing first responders, the mall security staff and merchants should an actual emergency situation ever occur.
